摘要: Abstract Air particulate samples were collected from one urban and two rural sites in NW England. Regression of Br Pb showed the elements to be virtually uniquely associated at all sites, but with a lower ratio town (0.25 ± 0.01) than (0.30 0.01 0.33 0.02). All ratios below that assumed characterize fresh exhaust (0.386) it is suggested this due not only loss Br, more substantially collection either resuspended street dust or re-entrained deposit emissions. Evidence for was found size-fractionated samples, which fine fraction near 0.386 measured, both sites. Further evidence came studies lead speciation. In contrast, second site, Ellesmere Port, measurements gaseous may attributed different atmospheric composition site.
