摘要: Soil Br concentrations, determined by neutron activation analysis, ranged from ‘natural’ levels of 11 to 18 ppm values up five times as high in Glasgow roadside and park surface soil. Elevated concentration soil is shown be a useful qualitative indicator automobile exhaust Pb pollution, although care must exercised sample selection avoid erroneous interpretation data. The excess originates ethylene dibromide used scavenge engines which tetraethyl an anti-knock agent.
