摘要: Platelet concentrates have been used in various applications within Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Implantology order to promote tissue repair. The Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is the first generation of platelet recent studies question its actual effectiveness on healing due rapid release growth factors. second concentrates, Fibrin (PRF), has peculiar features factors, which occurs slowly gradually thus seems a more promising effect over tissues under repair comparison with PRP, especially regarding bone. However, literature data are different better results seem be obtained when PRF mainly combination other graft materials. Additional well-designed needed clarify this matter.
