Vitamina D e muscolo scheletrico: una prospettiva clinica

摘要: Numerose evidenze cliniche indicano che la vitamina D puo regolare funzione del muscolo scheletrico umano. In particolare, sia nei soggetti anziani giovani svolgono attivita sportiva concentrazione plasmatica della 25-idrossivitamina (25OHD) correla direttamente con forza muscolare e le prestazioni fisiche, mentre risulta inversamente associata al rischio di caduta. Similmente, somministrazione D3 carenti, negli atleti traumi muscolari induce miglioramento delle motorie, riduzione cadute miorigenerazione. Sono in corso ricerche per caratterizzare i meccanismi molecolari alla base questi risultati, aprono prospettive terapeutiche innovative muscoloscheletrici nelle miopatie degenerative.
