摘要: This paper considers communication in terms of inference about the behaviour others (and our own behaviour). It is based on premise that sensations are largely generated by other agents like ourselves. means, we trying to infer how caused others, while they behaviour: for example, dialogue between two speakers. We suggest infinite regress induced modelling another agent – who you can be finessed if both possess same model. In words, and oneself process. leads a view upon narrative shared exchanging sensory signals. Crucially, this transcends agency simply involves intermittently attending attenuating input. Attending enables predict (i.e. listen), input one articulate speak). produces reciprocal exchange signals that, formally, induces generalised synchrony internal (neuronal) brain states generating predictions agents. develop arguments behind perspective, using an active (Bayesian) framework offer some simulations (of birdsong) as proof principle.
