摘要: The mechanical Cu-cladding method is favourable to incorporate stabilizer into the rapid-heating, quenching and transformation (RHQT) processed Nb3Al conductor for NMR insert coil uses, because an appropriate deformation of bcc Nb?Al supersaturated solid solution (Nb(Al)ss) effective in transforming it a short time, making resultant superconducting properties large insensitive temperature ramp rate during annealing. In order examine drawability Cu-clad stabilized with rectangular dies that might be finishing precision dimension, which would eventually key homogenizing magnetic field magnet, tensile loading test at room was performed conductors. For comparison, as-quenched wires round-to-round deformed bare were also examined. A fracture elongation reached as much 11% Nb/Nb(Al)ss composites, but only 3.5% Effects pre-annealing on studied. Ductility does not seem deteriorate after temperatures less than 500??C, 600??C apparently reduces elongation. Pre-annealing did improve dies.
