Residual Strain Dependence on Matrix Structure in RHQ-Nb3Al Wires by Neutron Diffraction Measurement

摘要: We prepared three types of non-Cu RHQ-Nb3Al wire samples with different matrix structures: an all-Ta matrix,a composite Nb and Ta a inter filament, all-Nb matrix. Neutron diffraction patterns the were measured at room temperature in J-PARC "TAKUMI". To obtain residual strains materials, we estimated lattice constant by multi-peak analysis wire. Powder sample each was measured, where powder considered to be strain-free. The grain size all below 0.02 mm. For matrix, also obtained spacing d single-peak analysis. Residual Nb3Al filament from two results compared. Result, showed good accuracy small standard deviation. for tensile strain axial direction, they are 0.12%, 0.05% respectively. Difference between indicates that type inter-filament materials show great effect on strain. In this paper, report method measurement, analysis, tree RHO-Nb3Al wires.
