摘要: Job satisfaction facets are theoretically and practically important variables. Most existing facet scales, however, have two noteworthy limitations—they often do not clearly assess affective content, they use non-parallel items. In the current paper, we examined measurement qualities of Facet Satisfaction Scale (FSS; [Beehr et al. (Journal Applied Social Psychology 36:1523–1547, 2006)], a measure that may address limitations measures. We conducted four studies to examine FSS: (a) Study 1 FSS’s factor structure, (b) 2 its test-retest reliability construct validity, (c) 3 further (d) 4 extent which FSS assesses cognitive components job satisfaction. found produced hypothesized five-factor structure subscales each yielded high levels internal consistency reliability. also evidence validity subscales, generally effective measures component their respective facets.
