摘要: Abstract We study the reservoir management problem in hydropower plants, and propose operating policies to maximize average annual energy generation or revenue. Under revenue maximization, our allow for short-term electricity price variations be incorporated into long-term plan. First, we provide a detailed review of plant operation, focusing on implicit stochastic optimization approaches integration management. Then, explain non-linear programming models that developed obtaining with different characteristics. evaluate compare through case study. Policies characterized by dynamic end-of-month storage levels are shown perform much better than policy an optimal static level, it has been further quite close theoretical upper bound. Finally, show maximizing objectives yield considerably using one place other may result significant loss benefit resource.
