CloudProphet: towards application performance prediction in cloud

摘要: Choosing the best-performing cloud for one's application is a critical problem potential customers. We propose CloudProphet, trace-and-replay tool to predict legacy application's performance if migrated infrastructure. CloudProphet traces workload of when running locally, and replays same in prediction. discuss two key technical challenges designing some preliminary results using prototype implementation.
