摘要: Introduction: Congenital dacryocystocele is a rare nasolacrimal duct obstruction in the newborn, which can give early symptoms. Pathophysiology derives from proximal and distal of duct. Clinical presentation includes cystic formations, infected or not, difficulty breastfeeding breathing difficulties. Classic bluish, cystic, firm mass below medial canthus, The correct diagnosis requires further investigation. Therapeutic intervention dependent on clinical outcome may include antibiotics, local therapy surgical intervention. Prognosis good usually does not imply future sequels. Case report: authors present case admitted 2 nd day life for respiratory distress. Physical examination showed signs distress bruise inner corner left eye. There was subsequent development quistic formation with inflammatory signs, an initial dacryocystitis who, after CT scan orbits to be dacryocystocele. Conclusion: Respiratory considered ophtalmologic evaluation.
