摘要: The yrast sequence of the neutron-rich dysprosium isotope {sup 168}Dy has been studied using multinucleon transfer reactions following collisions between a 460-MeV 82}Se beam and an 170}Er target. reaction products were identified PRISMA magnetic spectrometer gamma rays detected CLARA HPGe-detector array. 2{sup +} 4{sup members previously measured ground-state rotational band have confirmed extended up to 10{sup +}. A tentative candidate for +}->2{sup transition in 170}Dy was also identified. data on these nuclei lighter even-even isotopes are interpreted terms total Routhian surface calculations evolution collectivity vicinity proton-neutron valence product maximum is discussed.
