摘要: The purpose of this study was to compare 50 bicompartmental knee arthroplasty (BKA) and total (TKA) cases, particularly in restoring function. Patients were between 30 65 years old, with a BMI under 35, had osteoarthritis the medial patellofemoral compartments. Knee Society scores, Oxford questionnaires, radiographs, functional tests performed preoperatively, at 1, 4, 12, 24 months postoperatively. Functional testing included gait analysis, stair climbing, lunging, sit-to-stand analysis. Both groups achieved equivalent scores (2 year mean 93.6 vs. 92.6, P=0.43) (2-year 43 41, P=0.35). showed significant improvement. Two postoperatively BKA TKA results clinical testing.
