摘要: The interferon (IFN) system is the first line of defense against viral infection in vertebrates. It well known that IFN synthesis induced by and secreted act upon as yet uninfected neighboring cells to prepare them for combating oncoming virus infection. products IFN-stimulated genes (ISG), which number hundreds, mediate this antiviral action IFN. Recent evidence suggests many these are also directly double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), a common byproduct infection, or other products. We refer family genes, on article focused, stress-inducible (VSIG). First, we will discuss different signaling pathways lead induce transcription response agents. Second, review available information about inducibility VSIG IFN, dsRNA, viruses. In article, functions proteins encoded selected members family. Because most affect aspects cellular physiology, presented here important understanding not only nature host but responses cytokines, such exogenous signal through Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3). Finally, present future perspective point out main gaps our knowledge field.
