Mitral Valve Replacement with ST. JUDE MEDICAL® Prostheses: A 60-Month Study of 350 Cases at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire

摘要: Between March 1979 and 1984, 350 patients underwent valve replacement with the ST. JUDE MEDICAL® (SJM) cardiac prosthesis in mitral position. Operative mortality for entire group was 4.3% single (MVR), 3.1%. There 98% follow-up from 6 to 60 months a mean of 31 months. Clinically significant hemolysis 5 paravalvular leaks following MVR. Late 8.3% during 865 patient-years. 10 (36%) cardiogenic causes, 2 sudden death not documented.
