摘要: Properties of C-band repeat pass interferometric SAR (INSAR) information from forested areas in norther Sweden and the Amazon rain forest are studied using data 3-day cycle ERS-1 1994 ERS-1/ERS-2 tandem mission. Radar backscattering intensity is not sensitive to stem volume/biomass above a fairly low saturation level, limited its use for forest/non-forest discrimination. Interferometric has been shown offer considerable improvement mapping properties land surfaces, particularly regions. For boreal regions, coherence shows significant advantage over classification non-forest areas. In region, despite generally coherence, higher still visible. If high enough, height (difference between DEM elevation obtained interferogram) can be measured. To determine relationship observables first-order model developed. The observational results compared with model.
