摘要: We describe the co-current flow pattern of gas and liquid through micro-fabricated beds solid pillars under variable (i) capillary number, (ii) contact angle or wettability (iii) pillar arrangement, i.e. modifying distance between their size comparing regular with more chaotic systems. Laser-induced fluorescent microscopy image analysis are used to study hydrodynamic interactions in terms dynamics, hold-up, gas–liquid interfacial area per reactor volume. Those parameters provide insights into multiphase patterns these systems, how control them, maximize mass transfer rate unlock potential microreactors reveal further intrinsic information.
