摘要: The propagation of traveling chemical waves in the excitable Belousov-Zhabotinsky (BZ) system when performed presence 1,2-dipalmitoyl- sn -glycero-3-phosphatidyl choline (DPPC) bilayers responds sensitively to phospholipid content. characteristic features wave propagation, such as spiral pitch, rotation period, and size core region, show two regions different behavior, one below other above a DPPC content 12.5% (w/w) thus suggesting transition organization lipid domains at ∼12.5% (w/w). This is supported by small-angle X-ray scattering data, which pronounced changes coherence lengths lyotropic smectic domains. Thus, dynamics the chemical occurring macroscopic length scale reflects water/lipid extend over mesoscopic lengths. These findings indicate that BZ/DPPC system, there an interaction between processes occurs scales differing much 3 orders magnitude.
