摘要: We present the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of apolipoprotein (apo) B- apoA-I-containing lipoprotein subspecies in plasma male Golden Syrian hamsters. The spectrum hamster lipoproteins d < 1.172 g/ml was subfractionated by isopycnic density gradient ultracentrifugation. ApoB-containing were distributed up to a 1.074 g/ml. Hamster very low (VLDL, 1.018 g/ml; approximately 120 mg/dl plasma) triglyceride (TG)-rich, deficient cholesteryl ester (CE), highly heterogeneous size, containing chylomicron-like particles. ApoVLDL contained proteins analogous human apoB-100, apoB-48, apoE. with physicochemical properties typical (LDL) identified as single, major size species interval from 1.019 g/ml, particle diameter decreasing progressively increase density. LDL-like distinguished their counterparts relative deficiency core CE (< 30% wt) enrichment triglyceride. high M(r) form apoB all subfractions, which apoE detected minor component. Total levels LDL (d 1.019-1.074 g/ml) amounted 140 (approximately 25% lipoproteins). distribution dense apoB-containing overlapped that apoA-I-containing, lipoprotein-1 (HDL1)-like particles 1.039-1.074 ApoA-I-containing physical chemical HDL exclusively over 1.074-1.172 Quantitatively, these predominated 270 mg/dl). Light, HDL2-like 1.065-1.103 (HDLL) preponderant, 66% total HDL). Marked heterogeneity evident, associated distinct contents apolipoproteins. Both HDLL heavy (HDLH, 1.103-1.172 enriched evidenced elevated weight ratios CE:FC (7-9:1) CE:TG (up 50:1). Considered together, lipid apoB- are consistent hypothesis is partially neutral (CE, TG) transfer activity.
