摘要: Abstract Ultrathin film of poly(vinylidene fluoride), PVDF is formed by Langmuir technique using different solvents (good and swelling) as spreading agents at the air-water interface. Surface manometry on shows that lift-off area polymer depends nature solvent. potential-area per monomer isotherm a negative (positive) potential for good (swelling) solvents. Brewster angle microscope studies show textures are found to be largely homogeneous in contrast swelling agents. Further, multilayers were transferred onto silicon substrates Langmuir-Schaefer method characterized grazing incidence X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy field emission scanning electron microscopy techniques. Analysis signature peaks from FTIR yield evidence occurrence relatively larger fraction polar β phase
