Random selection of citizens for technological decision making

摘要: Random selection provides a way to overcome some of the usual problems citizen participation in technological decision making. It offers representativeness with minimum bias and susceptibility vested interests. There are number requ irements for effectiveness random approach, such as that citizens interested capable rational deliberation. A recent experiments policy juries planning cells assessed see how well they satisfy requirements approach.
