摘要: Introduction: This article is part of the Focus Theme Methods Information in Medicine on “Biosignal Interpretation: Advanced for Neural Signals and Images“. Objectives: The aim this study was to compare rhythmicities quadratic phase coupling (QPC) trace discontinue EEG patterns (TD) premature newborns alternant (TA) full-term by means time-variant bispectral analysis. Both pattern occur during quiet sleep are characterized an ongoing sequence interburst burst patterns. courses measures most likely indicate specific interrelations between cortical thalamocortical brain structures. Methods: a group (n = 5) analysed. Time-variant QPC investigated parametric frequency plain [0.5 Hz, 1.5 Hz] x [3 6 used as region-of-interest (ROI). Results: rhythms with 0.1 Hz (8 – 11 s) were found all at electrodes. For less stable slower (< 0.1 11 – 17 electrodes showed higher inter-individual variation than newborns. Statistically, adaptation linear mixed model revealed difference about 5 s both groups Conclusions: comparison results indicates development interaction cortical, neurovegetative structures neonatal brain.
