摘要: The optical torque and the trapping position (focal point) in tweezers are analyzed for upward-directed focused laser illumination using a ray optics model, considering that light is incident at not only lower surface but also side of 3-wing rotor. viscous drag force due to pressure shearing stress on all surfaces rotor evaluated computational fluid dynamics. rotation rate simulated water by balancing with force, resulting 500 rpm an SU-8 20 μm diameter power 200 mW. estimated be 7.6 mW via objective lens having numerical aperture 1.4. Both agree well values obtained experiment.
