摘要: ABSTRACT The aim of this work was to investigate if eletroacupuncture at PC6 would modulate the stress-induced anxiety-like behavior and level activation several brain areas. Rats were distributed in groups: control; submitted immobilization; immobilization or tail. Immobilization increased grooming decreased stretched attend postures time spent open arms ele-vated plus-maze. Eletroacupuncture tail canceled effect on attenuated posture. Fos-immunoreactivity prefrontal cortex, medial central amygdala, paraventricular dorsomedial nuclei hypothalamus, lateral dentate gyrus, CA1, CA2 CA3 hippocampal paraventricular, cortex by electroacupuncture other areas It is concluded that induced moderately with difference between stimulation rat showed specificity concerning attenuation effects CNS related stress response, anxiety cardiovascular system.Key words: stress, electroacupuncture, anxiety, elevated plus-maze, Fos-immunoreactivity.
