摘要: OBJECTIVE To investigate the color difference using both ΔE*ab and CIEDE2000 formulas of all combinations enamel dentin shades three different composite systems with shade guides, to compare coverage error (CE) guides for each whether is affected by layer thickness (0.5 vs 1 mm). MATERIALS AND METHODS Disk specimens from Essentia, Enamel Plus HRi, IPS Empress Direct composites were fabricated. Color measurements performed enamel-dentin two thicknesses per shade: 0.5 1 mm. was measured guides: Vitapan Classical, 3DMaster, Ivoclar. Minimum between layered tabs, closest tab match CE calculated combinations. RESULTS In most cases, a mismatch. 3DMaster significantly lower HRi at 0.5 mm thickness. Shade exhibited higher lightness values compared chroma guides. CONCLUSIONS do not well composites. better than other in cases.
