摘要: Abstract Bifaces, primarily handaxes and cleavers, are the hallmark of Acheulian techno-complex lithic industry. They spread across Africa Eurasia during Early to Middle Pleistocene. While many attempts have been made define describe typology technology these tools, most focus on a single stage in their manufacture usage, from quarry discard. These fragmented, due fact that at no site all stages biface use represented. An additional factor appears impede present full “life cycle” bifaces is view assemblages as belonging cultural entity. belong same techno-complex, distinct phases should be recognized, each different typology, technology, probably also chronology. This research focuses large flake Acheulian. Data accumulated over years regions analyzed together an attempt holistic life cycle biface. The study particular sites Levant Western Europe enables us reconstruct biface, raw material exploitation final result model more comprehensive precise than those suggested previously for understanding Large Flake
