摘要: Summary The effect of HIV-1 on other infectious diseases in Africa is an increasing public health concern. In this review, we describe the role that three major diseases—malaria, sexually transmitted (STDs), and tuberculosis—have had epidemic. high prevalence untreated STD infections has been a factor facilitating spread Africa; with synergistic interaction between transmission genital herpes being especial concern for control both diseases. Increased susceptibility to tuberculosis after infection led rising incidence threat increased tuberculosis. Clinical malaria occurs frequency severity HIV-1-infected individuals, especially during pregnancy.
