摘要: Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (GBP) and sleeve gastrectomy (SG) have increased dramatically, potentially increasing the prevalence of nutritional deficiencies. The aim this study was to analyze effects food restriction during first year after bariatric surgery (BS) on parameters. Twenty-two 30 obese patients undergoing GBP SG were prospectively followed at baseline 3, 6, 12 months BS (N = 14 N = 19 T12). We evaluated intake nutrient adequacy (T0, T3, T12), as well serum vitamin mineral concentration T6, At baseline, had similar clinical characteristics, intake, adequacy, concentration. drastic energy reduction led very low probabilities for nutrients in both models (T3, Serum analysis demonstrated a continuous decrease prealbumin follow-up, indicating mild protein depletion 37 38 % 57 52 % patients, respectively, T3 T12. Conversely, despite observed T12, systematic multivitamin supplementation prevented most comparable terms subsequent risk micronutrient deficiencies post BS. Such results advocate cautious monitoring GPB SG.
