摘要: The purpose of this study was to determine if the perceived leadership effectiveness heads departments in Malaysian polytechnics mediates relationship between their orientation and work commitment lecturers. Leadership defined its structural, human resource, political, cultural, educational dimensions, based on Bolman Deal’s frame Sergiovanni’s model. A total 841 lecturers 76 department from participated study. Hierarchical Linear Modelling used heads’ perception impact lecturers’ commitment. proved that practised multidimensional leadership, effect mediated by effectiveness.
