摘要: Microorganisms from the oral flora were examined for production of bacteriolytic substances. Among human viridans group streptococci, only one strains with thiol-dependent properties was shown to secrete enzymes activity on heat-killed cells Micrococcus luteus double-layer nutrient agar plates. By morphology, culture requirements, and biochemical properties, they found conform descriptions nutritionally variant streptococci (NVS). Bacteriolytic be a constant property all NVS isolated some reference clinical sources. No other known species demonstrated activity. Analysis could useful tool both isolation identification this fastidious microorganisms.
