Internal consistency reliability was high no ceiling floor effects observed for the Total FPI. Concurrent validity demonstrated correlations Sickness Impact Profile (r = -.59). Construct supported Medical Outcomes Study Short Form-36, Physical Functioning .69), Activity Scale Elderly .62) American Thoracic Society-Division Lung Disease Breathlessness scale -.62). FPI reliable valid performance persons COPD.
