摘要: Objective: Experimental attempts to induce sleepwalking with forced arousals during slow-wave sleep (SWS) have yielded mixed results in children and not been investigated adult patients. We hypothesized that the combination of deprivation external stimulation would increase probability inducing somnambulistic episodes sleepwalkers recorded laboratory. The main goal this study was assess effects from auditory stimuli (AS) control subjects normal following post-sleep recovery sleep. Methods: Ten 10 controls were investigated. After a baseline night, participants presented AS at predetermined stages either or 25 hours deprivation. One week later, conditions reversed. Results: No induced controls. When compared sleepwalkers9 sleep, presentation significantly increased their efficacy experimentally events greater proportion (100%) experienced least one episode SWS as (30%). There no significant difference between mean intensity awakened SWS. Conclusions: Sleep can predisposed adults. highlight potential value protocol establishing video-polysomnographically based diagnosis for sleepwalking.
