摘要: Abstract The induction linac SHVS at ILE, Osaka University, delivers a high current electron beam of 1.5–4.5 MeV energy to drive millimeter and submillimeter free lasers. In this article, we review the previous distributed feedback (DFB) FEL experiments present theoretical analysis output radiation spectrum. experiment, both DFB wiggler were helical configuration. By employing structure, spectral intensity increases by factors 3 ∼ 5 for which satisfies Bragg reflection condition. Future ILE are also discussed, in effects gas loading investigated. These schemes expected make spectra shorter narrower increase gain. Furthermore, numerical these FELs is presented order clarify above-mentioned effects.
