摘要: This paper reports on the hydrothermal synthesis, structural characterization, and chemical stability−leachability of three metal arsenates, namely gallium arsenate dihydrate (GaAsO4·2H2O), indium (InAsO4·2H2O), lanthanum (LaAsO4). The new standard synthesis method involves precipitation at 433 K (160 °C) from equimolar (0.3 M) M(III)−As(V) nitrate solutions over a period 24 h. produced materials were found to be essentially stoichiometric exhibit very good crystallinity. two dihydrates further made up uniformly grown crystallites either aggregated (GaAsO4·2H2O) or nonaggregated reflecting their common orthorhombic crystal habit, while LaAsO4 consisted large particles with monoclinic habit features. In terms stability, InAsO4·2H2O release less than 1 mg/L arsenic when subjected TCLP-like leachability test (24 h contact pH 5) GaAsO4·2H2O released 2.4 mg/L...
