摘要: Abstract The quaternary alkaloids from several African species of Fagara have been examined by TLC and high voltage electrophoresis. All investigated found to contain a complex mixture similar bases derived via the phenylalanine/benzylisoquinoline biosynthetic pathway. Magnoflorine has isolated F. leprieurii, rubescens viridis , while chalybea yielded tembetarine candicine. chemosystematic potential these previously reported chloroform-soluble is considered.
