摘要: The new histopathological classification of exocrine pancreatic tumors by the World Health Organization, now includes "ovarian-type stroma" ("OS") in definition mucinous cystic tumor pancreas (MCT-P). This study investigated clinicopathological findings MCT-P according to WHO and scrutinize function "OS" immunohistochemically. Thirty-four cases (28 adenomas, 2 borderline 4 adenocarcinomas) were examined clinicopathologically. 34 MCTs-P studied immunohistochemically compared with stroma 10 ovary (MCTs-O), conventional carcinomas 6 normal ovaries. Almost all located body-tail middle-aged women. Histologically cells exhibited luteinization 11/34 (32.4%). Immunohistochemically, both stromal MCT-O showed similar positivity rates; calponin (34/34 9/10), h-caldesmon (28/34 8/10), alpha-inhibin (29/34 estrogen-receptor (21/34 6/10) progesterone-receptor 9/10, respectively). Some neoplastic epithelial positive for human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) (21/34, 61.8%). indicates predominance MCT distal Furthermore, immunohistochemical histological results demonstrate that share same characteristics. also suggested hCG produced epithelium probably plays an important role MCT-P. We therefore conclude there is a possibility originates from left remnant primordial gonadal which migrated anlage during early development fetus.
