摘要: The p53 tumor suppressor protein is a transcription factor that responds to cellular stress. regulates growth arrest, apoptosis, senescense, angiogenesis and DNA repair, mainly by activating and/or repressing of specific target genes. Its central role in development supported the frequent mutation or loss gene human tumors different tissue origin. Furthermore, animal models have underscored p53’s key tumorigenesis pointed p53-induced apoptosis as major mechanism for suppression vivo. Due its evolution pivotal function regulation pathway an important conventional novel cancer therapy.
