摘要: Endometriosis is subsequent to the ability of endometrial glands invade normal tissues. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs)—enzymes that mediate tissue turnover, including breakdown during menstruation—appear be involved in this invasive process. Here, we examined immunohistochemical expression MMP-2, MMP-3, MMP-11, inhibitor metalloproteinase (TIMP)-1 and TIMP-2 endometrium from women with (n=9) or without endometriosis (n=18) comparison peritoneal (n=20), ovarian (n=20) colorectal (n=20). Women showed decreased MMP-2 compared (mean±SD positive cells: 24.3±28.3% 69.3±12.1%), together loss MMP-3 (0 versus 17.5%±20.2). TIMP-1 was similar two groups. Endometrial -3 -11 -2 were those endometriosis. higher than lower (P=0.0002) endometriotic cysts (P=0.003) did not vary according location lesions. These results suggest may pathogenesis Interestingly, overexpression related infiltrative nature lesions, possible sequential
