Coordination chemistry of pyrazolone based Schiff bases relevant to uranyl sequestering agents: Synthesis, characterization and 3D molecular modeling of some octa-coordinate mono- and binuclear-dioxouranium(VI) complexes

摘要: Abstract Synthesis of two new series octa-coordinate dioxouranum(VI) chelates: (i) mononuclear chelates compositions, [UO 2 (L 1 ) (H O) ] (where L H =  N -(4′-butyrylidene-3′-methyl-1′-phenyl-2′-pyrazolin-5′-one)- p -anisidine (bumphp-paH, I ), m -phenetidine (bumphp-mpH, II or -toluidine (bumphp-ptH, III and )(H H  =  , ′-bis(4′-butyrylidene-3′-methyl-1′-phenyl-2′-pyrazo-lin-5′-one)- o -phenylenediamine (bumphp-ophdH IV (ii) the ligand bridged binuclear chelate composition (μ-L 3 ′-bis(4′-butyrylidene-3′-methyl-1′-phenyl-2′-pyrazo-lin-5′-one)-benzidine (bumphp-bzH V are described. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, uranium determination, molar conductance, decomposition temperature magnetic measurements, thermogravimetric studies, NMR, IR, electronic spectral studies. The 3D molecular modeling analysis for bond lengths angles also carried out representative compounds, (bumphp-pa) ( (bumphp-bz)(H 5 to substantiate proposed structures.
