摘要: Proteomics is a rapidly advancing field not only in the of biology but also translational cancer research. In recent years, mass spectrometry and associated technologies have been explored to identify proteins or set specific given disease, for purpose disease detection diagnosis. Such biomarkers are being investigated samples including cells, tissues, serum/plasma, other types body fluids. When sufficiently refined, proteomic may pave way early individualized therapy cancer. Mass approaches coupled with bioinformatic tools developed biomarker discovery validation. Understanding basic concepts application such technology by investigators accelerate clinical protein management.
