摘要: Abstract The present study investigates the performance of eccentrically loaded columns externally strengthened with different carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) systems. 10 specimens were representative-scale square made normal-strength concrete substandard (internal) reinforcement details that designed to represent old building structural columns. Eight upgraded by four types commercially available systems external reinforcement, using plates, unidirectional or bi-directional composite fabrics. It was considered necessary get information on a wide spectrum fiber-reinforcement in order provide satisfactory set experimental data for validating future suitable retrofitting design methods. Experimental results presented this paper show significant improvement strength capacity, deformation capacity and ductility can result CFRP application, but observed gains strongly depend
