摘要: In this study, the performance of axially loaded, small-scale, and fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) wrapped concrete columns with various wrap angle configurations, thicknesses, strengths was investigated through nonlinear finite element analysis. Three different ply configurations 0°, ±15°, 0°/±15°/0° respect to circumferential direction, strength values ranging from 3 ksi 6 were considered. An existing experimental study on FRP-confined circular in literature utilized validate numerical analysis models. The results showed substantial increase axial compressive ductility cylinders as compared unconfined cylinders. thickness also resulted enhancement columns. gain FRP-wrapped observed be higher for lower highest 0° configuration.
