摘要: Abstract The integration of large-scale wind power has brought about a series challenges to the industry, but at same time number benefits are being realized. Among those, ability cause decline in electricity market prices been recognized. In quantifying this effect, some models used recent years based on simulations supply-side and price clearing process. accuracy estimates depend quality input data, veracity adopted scenarios rigorousness solution technique. work, econometric techniques actual ex post data implemented for estimation impact region-wide local trading savings that stem from effect. model is applied case Spain, where estimated compared against credit bonus expenses ratepayers. implications extent these results current future renewable energy policy-making discussed.
