摘要: Abstract Radioiodine concentrations were determined in apparently normal and inflamed tissues of 12 cows after six to eight daily doses. Concentrations diseased tissue as percentages corresponding were: skin with hair, 124; macerated eyeball, 290; mammary gland, 214; uterus, 318. Plasma thyroxine disappearance rates four injuries or infections including a bruised hock, an abscessed lacerated teat, acute mastitis averaged 203% normal. More rapid could result from involvement iodination reactions by phagocytosing leucocytes. Inflamed also concentrate inorganic iodide.
