摘要: Corticotropin-releasing factor (C R F)-like activity, which was first found in the hypothalamus, detected extracts of human placentas obtained at full term from spontaneous deliveries. The molecular size placental CRF-like substance is slightly larger than that adrenocorticotropin. In cultures rat anterior pituitary cells, material shows bioactivity similar to partially purified hypothalamic CRF and synthetic ovine C F on release adrenocorticotropin (β-endorphin. Furthermore, activity placenta attenuated by trypsin digestion. Thus may elaborate a CRF.
