Investigating Double-Regime Crossover in Y 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 - x R x O 7 - δ Superconductors

摘要: The effect of Pr and Gd doping on the transport properties of Cu-deficient YBCO superconductors has been studied. Two series Y1Ba2Cu3 - xRxO7 δ, where R = or Gd, were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction technique. Resistance measurements showed a suppression Tc with increasing Pr- Gd-contents in addition to normal-state metal-to-insulator transition. Moreover, superconductor-to-insulator transition observed at ambient pressure for temperatures less than 50 K with x 0.3 > 0.3. overall complex behaviours resistivity data have preliminary explained terms of localization charge carriers, structural disorders, magnetic ordering of magnetic moments.
