摘要: Abstract Background: Mirizzi syndrome refers to common hepatic duct obstruction caused by extrinsic compression that is usually from a stone impacted in the cystic duct. The utility of transpapillary intraductal US for assessment biliary strictures with radiographic features was studied retrospectively. Methods: Intraductal performed 16 patients stricture and nonvisualization gallbladder endoscopic retrograde cholangiography. An over-the-wire catheter probe (20 MHz) inserted into bile findings were compared final diagnoses at surgery. Results: successful all patients. extraluminal cause detected 14 (87.5%). In 9 patients, an outside demonstrated lesions without evidence 5 including mass 4 asymmetrical, irregular thickening wall 1 patient. remaining 2 only distended gallbladder. Conclusions: Transpapillary wire-guided useful assessing suggest optimizes management these findings. (Gastrointest Endosc 2002;56:873-9.)
