摘要: Network functions virtualization (NFV) together with software-defined networking (SDN) has the potential to help operators satisfy tight service level agreements, accurately monitor and manipulate network traffic, minimize operating expenses. However, in scenarios that require packet processing be redistributed across a collection of function (NF) instances, simultaneously achieving all three goals requires framework provides efficient, coordinated control both internal NF state forwarding state. To this end, we design plane called OpenNF. We use carefully designed APIs clever combination events updates address race conditions, bound overhead, accommodate variety NFs. Our evaluation shows OpenNF offers efficient without compromising flexibility, modest additions
