摘要: We present a detailed examination of the light distribution near foci plane wave focused by diffraction-limited lens in parabolic index medium. show how changes as degree grading is varied, and we obtain explicit very simple expressions for intensity widths. Suitable scaling reveals that results depend on only few dimensionless parameters, most crucial involving ratio focusing power to self-focusing medium itself. also investigate symmetry describe new effect which has no analog with homogeneous media.
