摘要: Abstract Malignant hyperthermia (MH) is a rare genetic disorder that develops following exposure to volatile anaesthetic agents and depolarizing muscle relaxants. In this case report, 10-year-old boy with cleft lip palate underwent alveolar bone grafting for right alveolus. surgery, the MH episode occurred approximately 2 h induction of anaesthesia when patient was noted develop hypercapnia, tachycardia hyperthermia. An crisis declared. Immediate management included active cooling intravenous dantrolene, which responded. conclusion, early diagnosis prompt action are very important in successful MH.
